My main genres are pop and rock, but I also deal in jazz, fusion and ambient. I have a large network of musicians, producers and industry people whom I collaborate with when needed.

Creativity is at the heart of music making. It is also one of the hardest things to teach. I have more than 30 years of experience and a huge toolbox of methods for writing music which include unorthodox approaches based on your personal preferences and strategies. GuitarIST

As a guitar player I have played most genres. I started out in classical music but after hearing Hendrix for the first time – from my sister’s room – I quickly got a preference for rock music. Over the years, I have developed a highly personal approach and sonic universe. I offer:

Consultant

As a consultant I specialize in business aspects of professional music careers as well as cultural institutions and makerspaces. I’m a firm believer in coaching for authenticity and helping people help themselves. I offer:

Producer

In my well-equipped home studio, I offer production, tracking and mixing of small projects. I have the experience that can bring your idea from sketch to final song. My main focus is soloists and singer-song writers who wish to make music in small and intimate set-ups. My production service includes:

About me

I started out as a kid playing classical guitar and fell deeply in love with music. Upon hearing Hendrix for the first time I bought an electric guitar and emerged myself in rock music. It was the early 80’s and Hendrix was soon accompanied by post-punk bands like Joy Division, The Gang of Four, The Smiths, The Cure and The Birthday Party. Rowland S. Howard’s simplistic scratchiness and whammy abuse, Andy Gill’s jagged bursts, Johnny Marr’s jangly, chiming voicings were formative for my development.But I also found myself influenced by many other notable players – Jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen, John Frusciante, Cornell Dupree, John Scofield and Bill Frisell to mention a few.

As a songwriter I cover a lot of ground – pop, rock, folk and ambient. My own music revolves around indie rock/alternative with elements of post-punk, dream pop and ambient. My main focus is setting an atmosphere true to authentic emotional content. For that reason, I take the lyrics as seriously as the music – ideally the two are completely merged in the final song. I write both Danish and English lyrics fluently.

I’m heavily influenced by poetry – not only remarkable rock lyricists like Jim Morrison and Nick Cave, but also poets like Sylvia Plath and Jack Kerouac on whom I did my Master Thesis in Comparative Literature.
